Fish Canyon is a fun, intermediate level road in the Santa Rita Mountains of southern Arizona. After a few miles of riding on a normal gravel road off the main highway, the route turns north and heads into the hills. It becomes much more exciting the further you go, with seasonal creek crossings, some short hill climbs and plenty of rocky texture to make the ride a bit more challenging.
There is an old homesteader’s cabin (above) just off the main route that is worth checking out.
