Directions
The High Lonesome Road is located just a few miles from downtown Bisbee which makes it very easy and convenient to get to. Leave Bisbee on US 80 heading East and turn left on the Double Adobe Road. The High Lonesome Road begins here as a graded dirt road and then becomes a rough and rocky two-track across the desert, with several small washes along the way. This is a great road for beginners to get into easy technical riding without anything that will overwhelm them.
If you feel comfortable riding on this road, then you should be okay riding on the other “intermediate level” roads in the area.
